This study investigates the contribution of financial planning to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs in the city of Beira. Through detailed interviews with three local entrepreneurs from diverse sectors such as multi-level marketing, water purification, and education, we examine the motivations for starting their own businesses, the challenges faced at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journeys, the funding strategies employed, and the impact of financial planning on their growth and success. The findings highlight the fundamental importance of financial planning in forecasting expenses, making strategic investments, and overcoming obstacles, thereby contributing to the personal and professional empowerment of the entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the achievements of these women extend beyond financial success, positively impacting their personal lives and communities, and inspiring other women to seek financial independence and entrepreneurship.
