Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing healthcare systems and nursing practice. This study critically analyses AI's impact on quality of care and hospital efficiency through a narrative literature review (2015–2025). Findings indicate improved clinical decision-making, fewer errors, and optimized workflows. However, scholars diverge regarding autonomy, risks, and ethical implications. The study concludes that AI should support, not replace, professionals and requires adequate training and ethical regulation.
