Analysis of the causes of suicide among young people in the city of Maputo in Moçambique 2022-2023

Suicide among young people is a concern, not only in the family environment, but at a societal level. Based on this intention, the objective of the research is: to analyze the causes of suicide among young people in the city of Maputo, Mozambique. In order to be descriptive research, which addresses the population of young people in the city of Maputo involved in suicide cases, to determine the research sample, the total number of people monitored in the entities included as young people is investigated. health sphere, whether in the police sphere or in other fronts of the city this year 2023: the review of documents is through the Internet or institutions that allow access to information with the aim of investigating and contributing to this social difficulty. Observation: it allows us to see the environment in which young people find the causes that lead them over time to commit suicide against their own life. Interview with a psychologist or doctor who explains why young people submit to such a decision, expressing the reality of the treatment they will receive. The following conclusions were reached: According to the authors, we believe that suicide in the young population is a global problem that societies must combat intensely, ensuring a better lifestyle to solve their main difficulties, highlighting the main causes of suicide in young people, among them mental and material needs, boredom, lack of study and projection in the lives of young people and increasing trends in suicide in young people in the province of Maputo over two years shows a study, according to a report by the Maputo Central Hospital.
