This study aims to design and evaluate the Nkandap application, a digital solution developed to automate the registration and management of the teacher attendance book at the Polytechnic Institute of Kimpa Vita University. The research focuses on the feasibility and acceptance of the application, considering the need to modernize and streamline the teacher attendance control process, which was traditionally done manually. The research method involved surveys and interviews with teachers and administrative members directly involved in the management of the attendance book, aiming to understand their perceptions about the utility and ease of use of the application. The results showed that most participants recognized the advantages of digitization, such as error reduction and increased transparency. However, resistance related to users’ adaptation to new technologies was also identified. The conclusions highlight that, while the Nkandap application has the potential to optimize the process, its implementation requires ongoing training and awareness strategies to ensure user adoption. This study contributes to advancing knowledge in educational management and emphasizes the importance of technological innovation in improving administrative and academic processes.
