Strategic implementation of the balenced scorecard in higher education institutions in angola: Kimpa vita university case study 2017 – 2020

The present work of the Strategic Implementation of the BalancedScorecard in University Institutions with a case study of Universidade KimpaVita in a time horizon between 2017 and 2020. The methods used were comparative, historical with a quali-quantitative approach as to the procedures were bibliographic, descriptive and documentary research. The techniques used to make the aforementioned methods operational: a closed questionnaire was also made, a statistical analysis was also carried out that facilitated the preparation of tables and graphs from the information contained in the annual reports of the UNIKIVI Rectory during the four-year period under study. Several social indicators that facilitated the production of knowledge were calculated, such as the growth rate of the forecast of new students enrolled per course and organic units, which culminated in an increase of new students in the order of 18% per year. Therefore, with the application of a balancedscorecard tool, it was expected to reach 261 teachers in 2023 with a simple annual variation of 14.47% regarding the financial perspective, it was expected to collect the total revenues (Internal production and revenues from SIGFE only in the heading of salary of the teachers) in the order of AOA3,149,253,468.4 (three billion one hundred and forty-nine million two hundred and fifty-three thousand four hundred and sixty-eight Kwanzas during the forecast period that runs until 2023. The study recommended that UNIKIVI encourage its employees by granting scholarships in order to help increase the level of education of teachers with a licentiate degree, as well as greater dissemination of scientific actions promoted by the University.
